Tino’s is a genuine traditional Italian family ‘Trattoria’ as you’d find around Rome or NY boroughs featuring delicious pizza pie slices…the kind ya’ can pick up, fold in half and indulge. Tino’s delivers on flavor - tutto gusto!

 

Tino’s Café Pizzeria is phase II for Lettieri’s Café, the authentic Italian coffee shop opened in 2004 by Tino Lettieri, the former Minnesota Kicks soccer goalie - who brings decades of experience creating Italian cuisine (Lettieri Foods), as a familiar food fixture at the MN State Fair (‘Pizza On A Stick’) and at the Renaissance Fest (‘Lettieri’s Calzone’).

 

Tino’s Café has caught the buzz in the SW Minnetonka neighborhoods offering authentic handcrafted and stone hearth baked pizzas, stromboli, lasagna, panini, calzone, pastas, cannoli, gelato, lattes, espressos, coffees and much more.

 

Craving the tastes and neighborhood Café ambiances he grew up with, the Café was designed to enjoy and share with others the foods loved and missed. Inspired by East Coast and authentic Italian specialties, Tino's take flight:

 

- Tino’s pizza crusts and breads are home-made artisan creations baked on stone

- Tino's marinara and pizza sauces are all made from scratch

- Tino’s signature Italian sausage and meatball recipes - bring joy back to these dishes

- Tino's Italian beef is seasoned, thinly sliced top round, served ‘wet’ (au-jus) on an Italian hoagie roll with spicy giardiniere Italian relish.

- On Saturday/Sunday is all you can eat spaghetti & meatball special

 

...and once again, all is right with the world. And why should you expect anything less?

 

GLOBAL TASTES, LOCAL SOURCES & HIGHEST QUALITY:

A year was spent perfecting recipes and testing ingredients to create what is now proudly serve in the Café.

 

The unique artisan pizza crust and focaccia breads started with the flours of Naples, Italy – coarsely stone milled flours with more of the wheat’s bran and germ left in, imparting character, flavor and texture that highly refined commercial white flours lack.

 

To serve that authentic Neapolitan taste and texture, a local flour miller was found to provide the 'strong' stone milled flour they needed – and proving the old baker's adage that "the closer the mill and baker are, the better the bread!"

 

Savoring the unique fruity flavor and quality genuine Italian San Marzano tomatoes grown in Italy's Mount Vesuvius volcanic soil, 100’s of tomatoes were tested from all over. A Northern California wine country tomato grower was found who produced fruitful full-bodied authentic Italian flavor and quality tomatoes. Tino’s red sauces use only these whole, fresh packed, seeded and peeled tomatoes with Tino’s own blend of herbs and spices – Tino’s never uses tomato concentrate or ‘pastes’ reconstituted with water.

 

Like Tino’s Café Pizzeria motto states:
